We have three office locations in Seattle, WA, Portland, OR, and Bozeman, MT.
We design housing across all scales from single-family additions to large mixed-use multifamily and senior housing. Our projects are located from coast to coast and incorporate regional design inspiration.

INTERIOR DESIGNER | SEATTLE
About you:
We are seeking a motivated interior designer to join Urbal Architecture’s dynamic and expanding interiors department. The ideal candidate should:
Hold a degree or certificate in Interior Design from an interior design program.
Ideal applicant will have some work experience in interior design, and/or a degree from an accredited program.
Have good communication and graphic skills (a must).
Fully proficient in Autodesk Revit with Enscape plug-in (or similar rendering software).
Exhibit proficiency in Sketchup and Adobe Suite (Photoshop and InDesign strongly preferred).
Have basic knowledge in programming, planning and furniture specification.
Have experience in field observation and measurements.
Be proficient in contract documentation.
Be a motivated self-starter who is comfortable working in small teams as well as taking on independent responsibilities.
Be able to travel occasionally to job sites across the US.
Must be authorized to work in the United States. Urbal Architecture is unable to provide sponsorship for H1B visa candidates.

You’ll be part of a small, but mighty team that is exposed to the integration of the architectural and interior design process from start to finish.
Contribute to programming and space planning
Selection of interior finishes, furnishes, fixtures and equipment
Assist in developing high-quality presentations and models for client meetings.
Participate in design reviews, charettes, and pin-ups.
Participates in preparing contract documents, including but not limited to floor plans, finish plans, reflected ceiling plans, furniture layouts, interior elevations and details, material and furniture specifications and schedules.
Work within project schedules and budget, in an organized, timely, and consistent way.
Keep open communication within the team and with designated Project Lead.
Communicate ideas and thoughts in a way that inspires others.
Coordinate with partners and consultants

ARCHITECTURE DESIGN PROFESSIONAL | BOZEMAN OR PORTLAND
About you:
First and foremost, we are looking for a good fit for our office culture. Beyond that, We are looking for an open-minded, flexible individual with a strong sense of design who is passionate about learning all stages of the architectural process from early schematic design to construction administration. Our ideal candidate should:
Hold a professional degree in architecture (BA or MA) from an accredited program.
Be a motivated self-starter who is comfortable working in small teams as well as taking on independent responsibilities.
Have good communication and graphic skills (a must).
Exhibit some level of proficiency in Sketchup, Auto-CAD and Revit (strongly preferred).
Enscape is a plus.

RESIDENTIAL PROJECT MANAGER | BOZEMAN OR PORTLAND
About you:
First and foremost, we are looking for a good fit for our office culture. Beyond that, we are looking for a project manager who has a proven track record evolving 50-400 unit residential projects from feasibility study through construction. Our ideal candidate would have most of the following skills/credentials:
A professional degree in architecture
Entitlement and design review experience
A thorough understanding of the building code and permitting process
Excellent written and verbal communications
Ability to create and maintain a schedule
Great client care skills
A desire to mentor and lead small project teams
Able to multitask (our managers always lead more than one project at a time)
Proficiency in Revit
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketchup is a plus
