URBAL ARCHITECTURE
Portage Bay House Boat

Urban design for a floating home.
A common attribute of Seattle’s houseboats is a rooftop deck allowing owners rare outdoor space in a dense, yet unique environment. This 800-sf deck includes a sitting area, dining area, built in benches and planters accessed by an alternating tread stair and a custom dumbwaiter to get things up top. A mid-sized modern neutral two-story exterior with a mix of vinyl and wood siding and a flat roof. An open roof deck with contemporary glass railings and wood tone floor.
